Synopsis

On her 50th birthday Mapule receives what hardly any woman dreams of — divorce papers. After thirty years of marriage her world crumbles faster than her husband can say 'It's not you, it's me.' A model wife and mother who has never travelled beyond the local stokvel, she refuses to accept her lot. Together with her bluntly outspoken best friend Aus Lele and her hysterical daughter Pontsho, Mapule sets off on a madcap journey across the country to find a way to win her husband back.
