Diamond Butterfly

The film award trophy, the Diamond Butterfly, is created by Honored Artist of Russia Yuri Kuper and set with nearly 5,000 lab-grown diamonds. The statuettes are crafted in Kostroma, Russia’s jewelry capital. The winners received more than just the Diamond Butterfly statuette: the winner in the Best Film category was awarded a 10-carat Yakut diamond worth the equivalent of $1 million, while winners in the other categories each received a Yakut diamond weighing more than five carats, worth the equivalent of $250,000.
