Synopsis

Set in Shanghai, the film tells the story of Wang Tiemei, a strong-willed divorced woman raising her daughter alone. Moving into a new home, she meets her neighbour Xiao Ye, whose soft and yielding character contrasts sharply with Wang Tiemei's pragmatic nature. Despite their differences, the women become best friends, and this friendship helps them overcome life's troubles together. Wang Tiemei's ex-husband makes trouble and interferes in her relationship with her daughter. Only Xiao Ye can give the heroine a new impulse to live.
