Path to the Award
From submission to the ceremony — four stages that every film goes through on its way to the Diamond Butterfly.

Submissions
Film submissions are accepted for the 2026 Award. Each film academy member may submit up to three films.

Expert Review
The Expert Council screens and evaluates all eligible films. Each film receives an independent expert assessment.

Nominees
Based on the expert review, nominees are selected. The list is published on the film academy's official website.
04
Awarding
The results in each category are sealed in envelopes and kept until they are opened to announce the winners at the solemn ceremony.
